Since then he has written another book (with the help of his wife, Hilary Crystal, an accomplished photographer) that is perfect for our readers. Wordsmiths & Warriors (Oxford University Press) is an “English Language Tourist’s Guide to Britain.” The Crystals visit the places that played a key role in the evolution of “the world’s favourite language”.
