Emily Brontë: Wuthering Heights
When we went to the English Library in Alassio (click here), we asked its librarian, Jacqueline Rosadoni, to talk about her favourite book. She chose Emily Bronte’s classic novel Wuthering Heights, which was first published in 1847 (one year before its author died at the age of 30). Jacqueline says: “I must have read it a hundred times, it’s so romantic! It’s the story of two people who are in love but who never want to admit it.”
