Keira Knightley’s latest movie, Never Let Me Go (which receives a limited US release on September 15th) features a dream writing team. It’s based on the novel of the same name by Kazuo Ishiguro (who wrote the splendid The Remains of the Day), while the screenplay is by Alex Garland, author of The Beach. The director is an American, Mark Romanek, but the story is very English. Knightley plays Ruth, one of a trio of friends at a boarding school called Hailsham.
