Our thanks to Patricia for this gem (click here to enlarge the image)! Does “attached staff” mean that the staff are physically attached or even glued to the ski lift? Seeing as the ski season isn’t over yet, there’s still time to change it to: “No entry unless accompanied by a staff member.” As for the German, it should be: “Es ist verboten, den Lift ohne Hilfe des Personals zu besteigen.”
*nel titolo, getting attached: attaccarsi (principalmente nel senso affettivo).
If you see English mistakes (in Italy, the UK, anywhere!) that make you scream “Aarrgghh!!!” take a photo (please make sure it’s in focus!) and send it to redazione@speakupmagazine.it
We will publish the best (that is, the worst) both here and on our Facebook page.
