Aarrgghh! Workaholic washing machines

Workaholic, ovvero dipendenti dal lavoro: ecco la descrizione perfetta per le lavatrici di questa lavanderia. Perché? Per via dell’improbabile traduzione di “non dà resto” con “No rest for the machine”, ovvero “niente riposo per le macchine”… allertiamo il sindacato?

No rest for the wicked” is a popular biblical phrase but “No rest for the machine” is pretty original! The owners of this laundrette have mistranslated the word “resto“ (“change”) as “rest” (“riposo”)  (click here to enlarge the image). What the sign should say is: “No change given.” Our thanks to Antonio Salvatore for spotting this masterpiece!
